Texting While Driving A Perilous Combination

If you love and care for yourself, do not text and drive.

Stop any such obsessions with your phone or mobile devices it's definitely unsafe. Why do you do it? You know it”s risky that you're putting yourself and others at great risk of death or serious bodily harm.

Texting is a serious health hazard when you choose to be absent-minded or sidetracked whilst driving. Several months ago my vehicle was rear-ended as I waited in line for the cars in front of mine to move forward.

The driver behind me came around a corner speeding, texting, chatting and slammed into my car.The impact was such that I was left with months of therapy from major back and leg injuries along with a heavily damaged new car.

This accident had nothing to do with a vehicle failure; rather it occurred because of 'driver inattention'. A key factor is that in today's society people cannot or do not control their mobile use.

Many people get killed because of accidents or deadly crashes resulting from texting/chatting or checking pictures on facebook while driving. Vehicles are lethal weapons that can inflict deadly force within one second if you're preoccupied or unfocused while driving.

Texting and chatting while driving or even while walking is the latest condition that's in competition with drunk driving, driving under the influence of drugs or vehicle malfunction.

Driving is a serious business you cannot be lost in thought, in a world of your own or engrossed elsewhere when driving. I certainly did not deserve the injuries sustained and to undergo months of intense pain and suffering because of someone's selfish, inappropriate and unsafe decision.

When you disconnect yourself from the would-be dangers of driving inattentively you set the stage for calamities. Just because you believe you're 'in control' or 'it won't happen to me' or 'I'm really vigilant' you endanger the lives and wellbeing of yourself and others.

Let's call a halt to this misery creating behaviour, do not let the current culture of tech gadgetry insanity control your judicious decision making or your life.

Make every effort to prevent serious vehicular disability or death; simply put, it takes only a moment of distraction for an accident to happen.So pamper your good health and remember no texting while driving just pull over and make your call.
